This retarded revolutionary device comes out in about 4 days, and the orders are already piling up.
So what is the iPad? In short, its a giant iPod touch. Thats right, some genius at Apple thought the iPod Touch was way to small for his big ol’ man hands so it was time to make a 9.7” screen. Now according to Apple, the iPad is, “A magical and revolutionary product at an unbelievable price.” Seeing as the base model of an iPad is 500 bucks, I guess they’re right on that, and seeing as its made by Apple all the Mac users probably sincerely think that its magical.
Now you may be wondering, why do I hate this device so much? The answer is, its useless. Lets look at the iPad vss. Netbooks, because Apple highlights how small it is, and how it has the capabilities as a real computer. Rather than having a realy detailed analyses of this, lets face the facts, a NetBook is half the price, smaller, has a better processor (iPad=1 GHz, most NetBooks= 1.6 GHz) come with the luxary of USB ports, actually runs a valid operating system as apposed to a freaking iPhones OS, so the iPads a crappy choice for that, now lets look at it was an eReader, a 500 dollar eReader. I understand how it could be good at this, but a device that was MADE to read books is better, reading on an iPad is like reading on a laptop, whats the point? Now lets look at it as a laptop, no. Just no. If you consider this thing a valid laptop then click Alt + F4 right now.
